About This Scholarship

The Korean Government Scholarship Program (KGSP) offered by the National Institute for International Education (NIIED) provides international students with opportunities to pursue undergraduate or graduate degrees at Korean universities fully funded. Eligibility Requirements

Citizen of a KGSP-eligible country

Under 40 years of age

GPA of 80% or higher in previous degree

Must not be a Korean citizen or holder of Korean nationality

In good health — medical certificate required

Must not have previously received KGSP scholarship

How to Apply

Apply through the Korean Embassy in your home country OR directly through a designated Korean university. The Embassy track requires submitting documents to your nearest Korean Embassy. The University track requires applying directly to up to 3 KGSP-designated universities. Shortlisted candidates undergo document screening and may be interviewed.
